Welcome to Oak CE Primary School
On behalf of the staff, governors, and the diocese, I warmly welcome you to Oak CE Primary School. We are an inclusive two-form entry primary school in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield, where we celebrate our richly diverse multicultural community. We work in partnership with parents and the wider community to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for all our pupils and staff.
Our vision of ‘we belong, show kindness, give hope and feel proud’ is central to every decision we make for our pupils and community and is rooted in the story of The Good Samaritan – love your neighbour as yourself. (Luke 10:25-37)12:13).
We believe in creating an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging, where kindness is shown to all, and where hope is instilled for a brighter future. Our pupils and staff are encouraged to feel proud of their achievements and the positive impact they can make, reflecting the spirit of the Good Samaritan of caring for others without hesitation. Through these values, we aim to foster a supportive, inclusive community where everyone thrives together.
With over 29 languages spoken in school, these core values are central to our ethos. The well-being and safety of children are our highest priority. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expect all staff, volunteers, and parents to share this commitment. Our experienced and compassionate team is always on hand to support children and their families. Through a broad curriculum and nurturing, respectful relationships, we aim to develop habits and attitudes that empower our pupils to be responsible citizens and independent learners—facing challenges with resilience, empathy, and confidence.
I hope that you find all the information about the school that you need. If there is anything additional that you would like to know or would like to make an appointment to visit us, please contact Mrs Rodley on 01484 977211 or at office@oakprimary.co.uk
