Our school vision was written collectively with pupils, staff, parents and governors all sharing their thoughts about what is special about Oak CE Primary and what do we want to provide for our pupils and community.
We belong, show kindness, give hope and feel proud.
Our vision is central to every decision we make for our pupils and community and is rooted in the story of The Good Samaritan – love your neighbour as yourself. (Luke 10:25-37)12:13). We believe in creating an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging, where kindness is shown to all, and where hope is instilled for a brighter future. Our pupils and staff are encouraged to feel proud of their achievements and the positive impact they can make, reflecting the spirit of the Good Samaritan of caring for others without hesitation. Through these values, we aim to foster a supportive, inclusive community where everyone thrives together.
The Good Samaritan teaches us that everyone is worthy of belonging regardless of their differences.
The Good Samaritan demonstrated kindness and compassion by helping the injured man.
The Good Samaritan gave the man hope in the goodness of people and for a better future.
The Good Samaritan knew he had done the right thing and gave him peace and happiness.
By living out our school vision, we are giving everyone the opportunity to flourish.
