School uniform is greatly encouraged by school—we believe it encourages a sense of pride in school and a feeling of belonging.

We particularly ask if parents of Reception and Year 1 children can buy clothes and shoes which are easy to put on. Small children find buttons and laces very difficult. Please make sure your child’s clothes are clearly labelled with their names.

Many of the items listed below are available in high street shops and supermarkets. The only required items with our school logo are sweatshirts and cardigans which can be bought from the following suppliers with a starting price of £8.99 for sweatshirts and £9.99 for cardigans (both dependent on size):

We are also grateful for donations of outgrown uniform.

Uniform List

Our uniform consists of:

• A jade sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo
• A white polo shirt
• Grey or black trousers/shorts or skirt/pinafore
• Sensible black shoes or boots
• In the summer girls may alternatively wear a green checked gingham school dress.

For indoor PE:
• A plain white T-shirt
• Black shorts
• Black Pumps
These should be kept in a small, soft “pump bag” so it can be kept in your child’s locker

For outdoor PE:
• Children will need warm clothing (dark tracksuit bottoms/spare sweatshirt without branding)
• Trainers/pumps.

The only jewellery allowed are small studs in ears which must be removed for PE. In line with PE Association recommendations, earrings and wrist watches must be removed for PE. Staff are not able to help remove and put earrings back in.

A wrist watch may be worn in school. This must not be a smart watch.
