Competition Winners from Our School – Spring Term 2022
Schools in Crosland Moor were invited to take part in designing a poster supporting community work being carried out in the area including West Yorkshire Police, Kirklees Homes and Neighbourhoods and other partner agencies.
It was a difficult decision to make, as all entries were fabulous, so three joint winners were chosen from Oak Primary School.
The three entrants will be working with Kirklees design team to merge them into the final poster which will be used on community literature.
Last week we invited special guests into school to have lunch with the children and announce the winners. We then held an assembly for Year 5 and Year 6 where the winners were announced. All entrants were given a certificate with the winners also being presented with family cinema vouchers.
We thought we’d share photographs of the winning designs and of the children celebrating all their hard work with you – as you can see we’ve got some fabulously creative students at Oak Primary.
